Site Technician

Function

As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for the installations at Delhaize's distribution centre in Ninove.

Here are some of your duties:

• Responsible for minimising downtime and ensuring continuity of advanced installations.
• You play a crucial role in continuously improving performance based on KPIs.
• Responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures according to applicable standards.
• You also supervise technical operators, perform technical cleanings, initiate improvement projects and report progress and parts used in the maintenance software system.
• Together with your colleagues, you implement action plans to maximise plant reliability, safety and efficiency.

Profile

We are looking for someone with a passion for engineering and a keen eye for detail.

You possess:

• Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical drawings.
• Experience in using dedicated troubleshooting tools.
• Mastery of software tools such as MS Office, CMMS and technical programming software.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate via MS Teams or PDA.
• Willingness to continuously increase your technical knowledge and take responsibility for the installation.
• A focus on working according to safety regulations.
• Willing to work 2 shifts (early/late).
