Service Technician Region Halle-Anderlecht

Function

As a Service Technician, you ensure that forklifts and warehouse trucks remain safe and operational at customer sites. You combine technical knowledge with a customer-focused approach and work primarily independently in your own region.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and technical interventions on internal transport equipment.
• Analyse and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and periodic inspections to minimise downtime.
• Independently plan and organise interventions from your fully equipped service van.
• Register work carried out and diagnoses via tablet.
• Inform customers about work carried out and any points of attention.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers and ensure a high-quality service.
• Rely on support from colleagues and technical experts for more complex problems.

Profile

You have a technical background and find satisfaction in solving technical problems. Experience with forklifts is a bonus, but thanks to training and guidance you can further build up the specific product knowledge.

• Technical education in electromechanics, electrical engineering, maintenance techniques or equivalent through experience.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems.
• Experience with forklifts or warehouse trucks is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You work independently, accurately and take responsibility for your interventions.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
• You are customer-focused, eager to learn and enjoy working together with colleagues.
