Senior File Manager

Function

As a file manager, you will be responsible for following up accounting files and assisting clients with financial and tax matters.

Your range of tasks:

• Management of accounting records of A to Y or A to Z, depending on your experience
• Entry and control of:
  • purchase invoices
  • sales invoices
  • financial operations
• Drafting and submission of:
  • VAT returns
  • personal income tax
  • corporate tax
• Preparing annual accounts and closures
• Advising clients on accounting and tax questions
• Thinking about optimisations in files and processes
• Collaborate with colleagues to follow up files efficiently

Within the office, there is a strong commitment to digitisation, automating administrative tasks as much as possible.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a file manager with an interest in accountancy and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy, taxation or a similar field
• Relevant experience within an accounting firm is a plus
• You work accurately and in a structured way
• You take initiative and think along with customers
• You communicate fluently and enjoy working as part of a team
• Interest in digital tools and modern accounting software

Organisation

You will join a small-scale and professional accountancy firm with a team of around 10 employees. The firm was established in the late 1990s and has built a strong reputation among local entrepreneurs over the years.

The organisation works with a modern digital accounting process and uses tools such as Silverfin, Billit and Clearfacts to manage files efficiently and digitally. For personal tax, it uses specialised software.
