Senior File Manager | Future Partner Accountancy
Function
For a small and stable accounting firm, we are looking for an experienced file manager who is ready for a role with more responsibility. You will join a team of 5 employees, where trust, quality and correct cooperation are key.
This is not a classic position in which you only process files. Naturally, correct and accurate file follow-up remains important, but the emphasis is also on customer advice, assisting colleagues and helping to think about the further expansion of the office.
The firm supports entrepreneurs from a variety of sectors and operates in a personal, down-to-earth and professional manner. There is no cock-up culture or big talk, but a calm working environment where employees are given autonomy and can take responsibility.
Depending on your experience, your duties will include the following:
- Independently manage and follow up customer files;
- Control and supervise accounting processing;
- Preparing and discussing closures, annual accounts and tax returns;
- Advising clients around accounting, taxation and financial questions;
- Building and further strengthening relationships of trust with customers;
- Support, guide and motivate colleagues;
- Act as a point of contact within the office;
- Contributing ideas on the organisation, operation and further growth of the office.
For the right candidate, there is a real prospect of joining the firm (eventually). This need not be a distant prospect: depending on your experience, ambition and the mutual click, this can grow gradually or become negotiable sooner.
Profile
We are looking for someone with several years of experience within an accounting or bookkeeping firm. You are strong enough to follow up files independently, advise clients professionally and eventually take on a pulling role within the office.
You don't have to be able to do everything yet, but you do have the maturity and ambition to share responsibility.
You recognise yourself in the following profile:
- You have relevant experience within accountancy;
- You can manage and follow up customer files independently;
- You have an interest in customer advice and enjoy thinking with entrepreneurs;
- you work accurately, reliably and professionally;
- you communicate clearly and correctly with customers and colleagues;
- you have the maturity to mentor colleagues and pull them along positively;
- You feel comfortable in a small-scale, quiet office environment;
- you have the ambition to eventually take on more responsibility within the office.
A qualification as an accountant or tax accountant is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. More important are your experience, attitude and desire to help build the firm in the long term.
Organisation
You will join a small accountancy firm with a stable team of 5 employees. The firm has a broad client portfolio and supports entrepreneurs from different sectors.
The working atmosphere is calm, professional and down-to-earth. Employees are given confidence, autonomy and space to assume their roles. Quality, accuracy and reliability are key, both to customers and within the team.
Offer
You will have the opportunity to take on an important role within a small and stable firm where your work has a visible impact. You will join an environment where calm, trust and professional collaboration are key.
You can also count on an attractive salary package, complemented by fringe benefits such as:
- company car with fuel card;
- meal vouchers of €10;
- hospitalisation insurance;
- group insurance;
- profit bonus;
- net expense allowance;
- bike lease if you don't take a company car.
Career opportunities
This position offers clear progression opportunities. For someone with the right experience, ambition and click with the firm, there is a real possibility of effectively joining the firm in due course.
You will have the opportunity to develop client relationships, mentor colleagues and help think about the future of the office. The entry-level opportunity is not an empty promise, but a concrete track for someone who wants to build and take responsibility for the long term.
