Are you a dynamic sales professional with a degree in electromechanics or a similar technical qualification? Do you enjoy customer contact and would you like to work in a stable B2B environment where technology and sales come together? For our client, which specialises in battery solutions for industrial vehicles, we are looking for a Sales Engineer who thrives on prospecting and building customer relationships in the Antwerp and Limburg regions. This company is a well-established name in the sector and offers you a varied and challenging role.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the customer base in the Antwerp and Limburg regions. You will focus on companies in the manufacturing, logistics and distribution sectors. You will identify where batteries need replacing and offer well-thought-out solutions.
In addition to intensive prospecting, you will – with training and coaching – gradually build up a key account portfolio.
Core responsibilities:
- Actively identifying and approaching prospects in the industrial and logistics sectors
- Providing advice on and selling innovative battery solutions
- Building and maintaining sustainable partnerships
- Reporting to the Sales Manager and sharing knowledge with colleagues
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or a similar technical discipline
- Strong commercial drive and a natural communicator
- Preferably an interest in forklift truck operations, industrial maintenance or mobile installations
- Independent, enterprising and solution-oriented
- In possession of driving licence B
- A good command of Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is an advantage
- You enjoy being on the move and combine prospecting with client relationship management
