Sales Engineer

Function

  • You will develop and implement a commercial strategy focused on key accounts within the retail, food production, distribution and other multi-site sectors.
  • You actively seek out new clients and identify opportunities within your market segment.
  • You will build lasting relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at various levels.
  • You analyse clients’ operational challenges and translate these into appropriate technical solutions.
  • You will draw up quotations and proposals tailored to the client’s specific needs.
  • You will negotiate contracts and maintenance agreements with a view to establishing a long-term partnership.
  • You will support customers throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact through to after-sales.
  • You will closely monitor customer satisfaction and proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • You will work closely with internal departments to ensure the highest standard of service.
  • You’ll stay up to date with market developments, innovations and trends within your sector.

Profile

  • You have experience in a commercial field sales role, preferably within a technical or project-based environment.
  • You are skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • You have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • You have a customer-focused and consultative sales approach.
  • You are enterprising, results-oriented and know how to turn opportunities into concrete business.
  • You can switch easily between operational discussions and strategic negotiations.
  • You work independently, take the initiative and are responsible for your client portfolio.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • An interest in technical installations, energy solutions or building services engineering is a major asset.
