Refrigeration project manager
Function
As a Refrigeration Project Manager, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and completing refrigeration projects within various sectors (tertiary and industrial, mainly B2B customers such as agro and food companies, hospitals and industrial kitchens). This includes the design, installation and maintenance of cooling and freezing cells, but also smaller projects concerning air conditioning and heat pumps. You act as a point of contact for customers, guiding them from the initial discussion to the effective implementation of the project.
Profile
For this position, we are looking for an experienced project manager with at least 5 years' experience in refrigeration or (industrial) air-conditioning.
- At least an A2 degree with relevant experience, ideally a bachelor's degree in air conditioning.
- Experience in refrigeration engineering and project follow-up.
- Familiar with performing calculations (airflow calculations, area calculations,...).
- Experience with projects in tertiary and industrial environments.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality and customer-focused approach.
- Willing to spend approximately 80% of your time working in the office and 20% on site with clients.

Our client is a family-run company from the Waasland region with more than 50 years of experience in refrigeration technology. The company specialises in the design, construction, installation and maintenance of cold stores and freezers, supplemented by solutions in air conditioning and heat pumps. The focus is on B2B customers within agri-food, hospitals and wholesale kitchens.
Offer
Our client offers a competitive salary depending on your knowledge and experience, ranging between €4000 and €5000 gross per month. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive salary package:
