Function
We are looking for an Administrative Procurement Assistant for our client in Tongeren. In this role, you will be a key link in the management of administrative processes and the efficient streamlining of procurement activities. Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:
- Order processing: order intake, order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices;
- Drawing up quotations and price lists;
- Creating Eprel labels in accordance with the guidelines;
- Coordinating the warehouse, including supervising one warehouse assistant;
- Managing incoming stock and checking transport invoices;
- Tracking customer and supplier shipments via an ERP system;
- Providing support with various administrative tasks for the director;
- Welcoming visitors and answering the telephone, including in French.
Being able to adapt quickly, maintain an overview, monitor transport and set priorities are key aspects of this role.
Profile
For the role of Purchasing Assistant at our client’s premises in Tongeren, we are looking for a candidate who has:
- A stress-resistant, flexible and precise approach to work;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask:
- The initiative to work independently and find solutions;
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English;
- Computer skills, preferably experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems;
- At least 3–5 years’ relevant work experience in administration;
- Personal skills such as customer focus, critical thinking, a results-oriented approach, and reliability.

The company specialises in high-quality electronic components and innovative LED lighting solutions, and supplies wholesalers, lighting retailers and professional partners across a range of markets.
