Purchase Officer

Function

For the Planning & Purchasing team, our client is looking for an organised doer who thinks ahead and takes responsibility.

In this role, you will ensure that production keeps running. From packaging to raw materials, you make sure everything is available on time and correctly.

You will join a close-knit team of 7 colleagues. Together, you will ensure smooth planning and provisioning, with cooperation and continuity being key.

What will you do?

• Purchase management from A to Z (packaging, chemicals, materials)
• Placing and following up orders in SAP
• Closely monitor deliveries and order flow
• Resolve deviations and delivery issues proactively
• Optimising stock and order quantities
• Contributing to improvements in processes and systems
• Providing backup within planning and purchasing

Profile

Who are you?

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in economics) or equivalent through experience
• Fluent in Dutch, English and French
• Experience with SAP is a plus

• You are analytical, structured and communicative
• You keep an overview, work accurately and remain strong under pressure
• You take initiative and feel responsible for your work and your tea
