Vacancy
Project Manager Electrical Engineering
Function
- As Project Manager Electrotechnics, you bear full responsibility for the technical and financial result of electrotechnical projects in industrial and tertiary environments.
- You coordinate all parties involved and leverage the expertise of various technical disciplines, such as panel building, fire detection and infrastructure, so that every project moves forward as a whole.
- From pre-engineering, you develop technical solutions, determine critical material requirements and translate the scope into a feasible project plan.
- Full project monitoring is in your hands: electrical engineering, procurement, site execution, quality, safety, timing and budget are all overseen by you.
- With clear instructions and targeted follow-up, you support the site manager and the client's staff. This ensures that the execution is in line with the technical agreements and expectations.
- You negotiate with suppliers, align with subcontractors where necessary and maintain a professional and result-oriented collaboration.
- Administrative completion is also part of the role: you monitor correct invoicing, report on progress to the responsible business unit and share relevant insights with the sales team.
- You work within a multidisciplinary technology group that delivers technical services and solutions to clients in diverse industrial, tertiary and public environments. As project leader, you have access to specialist colleagues and internal expertise to help you execute complex projects to a high standard.
Profile
- A master's degree in industrial engineering is welcome; relevant experience in electrotechnical projects can form an equivalent basis. For this vacancy, we typically expect 3 to 5 years of experience in a role as Project Engineer, project leader or similar function.
- You have a solid knowledge of electrical installations, including low voltage, lighting, fire detection and network infrastructure. Experience with Eplan or Caneco, and a basic knowledge of the AREI and the Machinery Directive, are an advantage.
- Organising, planning and administrative follow-up come naturally to you. Accuracy and attention to detail are important, as technical choices, safety, budget and timing have a direct impact on the project outcome.
- You communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, suppliers and on-site staff. A client-focused and connecting attitude helps you to align different interests and guide teams in a constructive way.
- You think critically, take responsibility and negotiate in a professional manner. You speak Dutch fluently and can express yourself well in French and English; for travel related to projects, you hold a category B driving licence.
