Drinking Water Project Manager
Function
The company is looking for a project coordinator who will help to develop and maintain the drinking water network in the Bruges region and the coastal area.
Your day will look like this:
- Preparing and planning drinking water infrastructure projects
- Analysing requests and translating them into clear projects with planning and design
- Preparing estimates for materials, working hours and resources
- Organising site meetings and liaising with contractors, utility companies and other partners
- To act as a point of contact for customers and internal departments
- Monitoring projects and ensuring quality, timeliness and budget compliance
- Monitoring several projects simultaneously at different stages
- Solving practical problems on site
- Be present at the site on a regular basis to monitor and inspect
- Coordinating with contractors, management and other stakeholders
- Processing administrative tasks and checking invoices once they have been finalised
- Reporting to the team leader and working alongside colleagues
- Contributing ideas on improvements to processes and working methods
Profile
They are looking for a project coordinator who wants to help build a robust and sustainable drinking water network that literally reaches the homes of thousands of people every day in the Bruges region and the coastal area.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or a graduate diploma (HBO5), or you have another qualification with at least two years’ experience in site coordination or project management in a technical environment
- Can work confidently with MS Office
- You hold a Category B driving licence and are willing to travel throughout the wider Bruges – Middelkerke – Zeebrugge region
