Drinking Water Project Manager

Function

The company is looking for a project coordinator who will help to develop and maintain the drinking water network in the Bruges region and the coastal area.

Your day will look like this:

• Preparing and planning drinking water infrastructure projects
• Analysing requests and translating them into clear projects with planning and design
• Preparing estimates for materials, working hours and resources
• Organising site meetings and liaising with contractors, utility companies and other partners
• To act as a point of contact for customers and internal departments
• Monitoring projects and ensuring quality, timeliness and budget compliance
• Monitoring several projects simultaneously at different stages
• Solving practical problems on site
• Be present at the site on a regular basis to monitor and inspect
• Coordinating with contractors, management and other stakeholders
• Processing administrative tasks and checking invoices once they have been finalised
• Reporting to the team leader and working alongside colleagues
• Contributing ideas on improvements to processes and working methods

Profile

They are looking for a project coordinator who wants to help build a robust and sustainable drinking water network that literally reaches the homes of thousands of people every day in the Bruges region and the coastal area.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or a graduate diploma (HBO5), or you have another qualification with at least two years’ experience in site coordination or project management in a technical environment
• Can work confidently with MS Office
• You hold a Category B driving licence and are willing to travel throughout the wider Bruges – Middelkerke – Zeebrugge region
