• As Project Manager, you take charge of a large-scale residential construction project in Brussels, with a clear focus on structural work and concrete works.
• The day-to-day coordination of the project team, subcontractors and specialist partners is in your hands. You bring structure, clarify expectations and keep everyone focused on the same result.
• Planning, budget, quality and safety remain constantly on your radar. When the execution requires it, you adjust in a timely manner and make well-founded choices.
• In consultation with the client, designers, design offices and site management, you translate technical and practical challenges into feasible solutions.
• You monitor progress on site closely and ensure that decisions do not get stuck in consultation, but become visible in the execution.
• Through your management style, a strong site team develops into a well-coordinated crew that works safely, with quality and efficiently.
• You maintain an overview from design to delivery and ensure that the final result meets the agreements and expectations made.

Profile

Are you an experienced construction professional with leadership in your DNA?

• You have approximately 5 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, project manager or in a comparable construction coordination role.
• Large-scale construction projects appeal to you and you have a solid knowledge of structural work, concrete works and the practical organisation of a construction site.
• You can connect planning, budget, quality and safety, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• Clear communication and natural leadership help you to bring employees, partners and clients on board with decisions and shared objectives.
• You work proactively: you identify risks early, seek workable solutions and take responsibility for the progress of the project.

Organisation

Our client is a large Belgian class 8 contractor, specialising in utility construction and complex infrastructure projects. The organisation delivers large-scale new-build and renovation projects within the residential, commercial and public sectors. The portfolio includes hospitals and healthcare institutions, multifunctional office buildings, schools and university campuses, residential towers and apartment complexes. In addition, the organisation works on civil structures such as tunnels, bridges and other complex infrastructure works.

Through Design & Build formulas, projects are monitored from the design phase through to final delivery. As main contractor, our client coordinates the various subcontractors and specialist partners, and the organisation works closely with architects, design offices and clients. Thanks to this integrated approach, there is a strong focus on planning, budget, quality and safety. Innovation and sustainability also play an important role, including through BIM, digital optimisation, circular construction principles and reducing the ecological footprint.
