Project Manager
Function
As project leader at Lommel You’ll take on an exciting role offering plenty of variety and a comprehensive training programme. You’ll oversee several projects from start to finish and act as a point of contact for clients, suppliers and colleagues within the organisation. You’ll start under supervision and gradually grow into a role where consultation, follow-up and smart organisation are key.
Your duties will include:
- To assist with the preparation, planning and monitoring of various projects and sites.
- Helping to draw up quotations, setting prices and preparing cost estimates.
- Consulting with customers and suppliers, including follow-up calls and negotiations.
- Help prepare the sites and ensure that materials and deliveries are sent to the correct locations.
- Preparing invoices and providing support with cost recovery and file follow-up.
- Reviewing hot leads and contributing ideas on future opportunities.
- Combining administrative and commercial follow-up with a strong focus on communication.
You’ll be working in a small, close-knit team where communication is direct and where you’ll really make a difference. You’ll receive a year of intensive support, including mentoring and a clear roadmap, so that you can grow steadily in the role.
Profile
For this role, we’re looking for someone who is confident, keen to learn and not afraid to pick up the phone. You don’t need to be a seasoned project manager; someone with some initial experience and a strong desire to learn is certainly welcome. More important than a lengthy CV is the right attitude: proactive, communicative and ready to contribute ideas for the benefit of the company.
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s degree, a relevant course of study or equivalent experience that provides you with a solid foundation for project management.
- You have excellent communication skills and are confident in making phone calls, sending emails and holding discussions.
- You have sound commercial acumen and feel at ease in negotiations.
- Well-organised and able to keep track of several cases at once.
- A problem-solver who takes the initiative when necessary.
- Eager to learn and open to guidance, feedback and gradual development.
- Takes responsibility and works meticulously on follow-up, administration and planning.
- Is flexible in their approach and has no problem carrying out a bit of extra fine-tuning now and then when necessary.
Experience in project monitoring, cost estimation, site coordination or a technical/commercial role is an advantage, but your motivation and ability to learn are just as important.
Organisation
Offer
You can look forward to an attractive and negotiable remuneration package, tailored to your experience and potential for growth. The indicative gross monthly salary is between €2,750 and €4,000, with an annual appraisal based on commitment, development and performance.

- Commercial vehicle
- Charge card
- Eco-Vouchers
- Daily allowance
- Group insurance
- Meal vouchers
You’ll also be working in a close-knit and supportive team with short lines of communication, a friendly office environment and space to relax. This includes having lunch together, a recreation room with darts or pool, and a collegial atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable approaching one another. Leave is clearly planned, including fixed periods in the summer and around Christmas, supplemented by ADV days and individual days off.
Diversity and inclusion are important to CTRL-F.
Whoever, whatever or however you are or what you stand for, it is your talents that make the difference.
