Buildings project engineer

Function

As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the coordination, execution and follow-up of various construction projects. You play a central role in ensuring technical quality, meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets. You work closely with clients, architects and contractors and ensure that projects meet the specified requirements and specifications. You also contribute to the continuous improvement of working methods and processes to achieve optimal results.

• Preparing project plans and managing technical drawings.
• Supervise the execution of work and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate with stakeholders and act as point of contact for all technical issues.
• Support in procurement processes and supplier selection.
• Report on project progress and finances.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you have strong technical skills combined with excellent communication skills. You work in a structured, proactive and results-oriented manner.

• A degree in architecture or similar technical training.
• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials and regulations.
• Experience in using project management software and digital tools.
• Fluent in Dutch, both oral and written; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and stress resistance.
