For a leading construction company in Belgium, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious project engineer special techniques, who likes to help build impressive projects in buildings, civil engineering and industry.
As a project engineer techniques, you play a key role in the preparation and execution of complex construction projects. You will be responsible for analysing and optimising specialist techniques such as electricity (high and low voltage), HVAC and other building-related installations. You will work closely with colleagues within the calculation team and the execution team, and will have the opportunity to learn from experienced specialists.
Your duties will include:
- Technical elaboration and follow-up of special techniques, both during the preparation and execution phases of construction projects
- Analysing implementation methods and estimating cost prices, with a focus on techniques and electrical installations
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, and develop alternative solutions where necessary
- Consult with internal and external partners for smooth project progress
- Proactively monitor the budget and quality assurance of special techniques
- Independently updating your expertise in modern installation techniques
Profile
For this position, we are looking for a results-oriented engineer with keen analytical insight and a passion for technical projects. You definitely recognise yourself in this profile:
- Master's degree in industrial or civil engineering (towards electromechanics or electricity)
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a project engineer building installations in HVAC, high voltage or low voltage, within an engineering firm or installer/contractor
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain your position where necessary
- Accurate, solution-oriented and proactive working style
- Good knowledge of the Dutch language, knowledge of French is a plus but not a requirement
