Techniques project manager

Function

As a Project Manager, you will be a crucial link in the expansion of the refrigeration engineering department.

Here are some of your duties:

• You will take charge of various projects in commercial and industrial refrigeration plants for fresh food shops, supermarkets and food companies.
• In doing so, you will work closely with other project managers, customers and technicians to ensure excellent results.
• You will be responsible for coordinating work preparations, drawing up schedules, managing site meetings and monitoring ongoing projects.
• You provide quality control and technical support for your projects.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

• A technical background in electricity, electromechanics, structural engineering or a related field (bachelor's or master's degree).
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in techniques and project management.
• A passion for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and stress resistance.
• Experience in managing technicians and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of drawing and calculation programmes such as AutoCAD and EPLAN is a plus.
• Willingness to start early (between 6:30 and 7:00) so that you are easily accessible to the technicians.
• Willingness to be on site 1.5 to 2 days a week.

Organisation

Our client is a Belgian family business in Meise, specialising in total refrigeration solutions and customised shopfitting for the food sector. From a strong in-house production, they design, build and assemble high-quality refrigeration installations and furniture for bakers, butchers, supermarkets and other food professionals. Thanks to the close cooperation between engineering, production and installation, they supervise projects from design to delivery and maintenance, with a pronounced focus on energy-efficient and innovative refrigeration techniques. To expand the refrigeration team, they are currently looking for Project Manager.
