Project Manager – Refrigeration

Function

As a Refrigeration Project Manager in Lokeren, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of refrigeration projects, from preparation through to handover. You act as the link between clients, technicians, site managers, suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure that projects are carried out to the required technical standards, with the necessary quality, safely, and within the agreed timeframe and budget.

Your responsibilities:

• Monitoring projects from the planning stage through to completion;
• Analysing technical files, plans and specifications;
• Planning and coordinating works and the necessary resources;
• Managing and supervising technicians, site managers and subcontractors;
• Organising site meetings and reporting;
• Monitoring suppliers, quotations and orders;
• Monitoring the schedule, budget, quality and safety;
• Co-ordinating testing, commissioning and handover;
• Handling the administrative aspects of project follow-up.

A versatile technical role for someone who enjoys taking on responsibility, has strong organisational skills and can liaise effectively with various parties.

Profile

We are looking for a technically proficient and communicative professional with experience in project management, refrigeration engineering, HVAC or electromechanics. You should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree or a degree in industrial engineering, or have equivalent experience.

What we expect from you:

• Experience in project management or site coordination;
• A good knowledge of planning, ordering and site administration;
• Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD;
• Strong communication and organisational skills;
• Analytical, able to cope with stress and solution-oriented;
• Independent yet a team player;
• Knowledge of French and/or English is an advantage.

You combine technical skills, planning and coordination, and enjoy taking on responsibility within challenging projects.
