Piping project manager

Function

Are you an experienced and driven Piping Project Leader who enjoys coordinating the entire execution process of technical projects, from quotation to delivery? Then this position is for you!

• As Project Leader Piping (black utilities), you will be responsible for planning, organising and monitoring challenging industrial projects within the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food sectors.
• With your technical expertise, you act as a pivotal figure between customers, work preparation, production and execution.
• You will analyse specifications and plans, monitor budgets and schedules, and be responsible for putting together and managing an efficient team.
• All this takes place in a dynamic working environment with projects ranging from a few weeks to a year and a half, mainly in the region around Antwerp and Ghent.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

• At least a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, construction, design and production technology or similar.
• Relevant experience as a project leader, project engineer or work planner.
• Experience with Office tools and drawing programmes such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Plant3D or AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented and accurate working.
• Flexibility in tasks and hours and the ability to combine teamwork with individual responsibility.
• Experience in reading, adapting and interpreting technical plans.

Organisation

Our client has been operating for more than 25 years and specialises in industrial pipelines, pressure vessels and metal structures. They are responsible for design, construction, installation and maintenance. Their customers are mainly in the (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical, food, water purification,... Currently, they have about 50 employees of their own. Due to further growth, they are currently looking for a Piping Project Leader.
