Project Manager
Function
As Project Manager You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of one or more construction projects in the Hasselt region and the wider Limburg–Antwerp corridor. You will work closely with the site team, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that projects remain under control from a technical, organisational and financial perspective.
You combine a hands-on presence on site with strong administrative and financial oversight. You will spend approximately 80% of your time working from the site hut, where you will monitor progress, make adjustments and ensure the schedule is strictly adhered to. You are available to start immediately and will oversee projects from preparation through to handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the site schedule, progress and quality of the work.
- Coordinating internal and external parties on site.
- Monitoring budgets, returns, orders and logistics flows.
- Reading and interpreting plans, including 3D work environments.
- Monitoring administrative and financial project data via ERP systems.
- Reporting on planning, risks, additional work and adjustments to the relevant managers.
- Ensuring smooth communication between the site, the office and stakeholders.
You will have the opportunity to work on a commercially and technically interesting project of considerable scale, where your experience and reliability will make all the difference.
Profile
For this role, our client is looking for an experienced project manager with a solid professional background and a strong affinity with the construction sector. You should ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a degree in Industrial Engineering (Construction). A class 8-environment is something you’re familiar with, and you can draw on relevant experience from similar projects.
You have a practical mindset, are present on site and, at the same time, excel at monitoring, planning and financial control. Experience with ERP systems and reading 3D plans is important. Technical detail is less crucial than your ability to oversee the project as a whole, bring structure to it and prepare decisions in good time.
Furthermore, do you recognise yourself in the following:
- Relevant experience in project management or a similar role.
- Ready for immediate use.
- Strong in planning, organisation and site supervision.
- Experience in financial and logistical project monitoring.
- Able to communicate effectively with the various parties involved.
- Able to read plans and work in a 3D environment.
- A consistent CV and a demonstrable track record of continuity in previous roles.
- Working in the Limburg or Antwerp regions, or neighbouring areas, and willing to travel flexibly.
