Project Manager

Function

For our client We are looking for a motivated Project Manager who helps to ensure the smooth running of the entire organisation and management of our construction projects. You will contribute to high-quality residential and construction projects in the Kempen region and beyond, from structural work through to finishing, and ensure that every project is completed efficiently, safely and in accordance with the agreed terms.

In this role, you will combine technical knowledge with a strong hands-on approach. You will act as the point of contact for site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders, whilst keeping a close eye on the schedule, budget and quality. You will contribute ideas for solutions, make adjustments where necessary and maintain a clear overview at all times, even when multiple projects are running in parallel.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Organising and supervising structural and finishing works from start to finish
• Managing site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring the schedule, budget, quality and progress of the works
• Monitoring compliance with building regulations, safety standards and technical specifications
• Drawing up and justifying construction details with the construction team, the client, the architect and the engineer
• Identifying risks and proactively resolving bottlenecks to avoid delays
• Ensuring that every project is carried out efficiently, cost-effectively and to a high standard

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a candidate with a background in civil engineering and, preferably, some initial relevant experience in project management, site supervision or a similar role.

We expect you to communicate fluently, professionally and clearly, both with colleagues and with external partners. You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview and are able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of the details. In addition, you’ll be on hand where needed: on site, in meetings and when monitoring the implementation of projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in architecture or an equivalent technical background
• Relevant experience in the construction sector, project management or site supervision
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• An eye for quality, safety and detail
• A solution-focused and responsible approach
• Smooth communication with the client, architect, engineer, suppliers and site teams
• The flexibility to quickly get to grips with a variety of projects and situations

Experience in developing or justifying construction details is an advantage, as is a strong interest in residential construction projects, villa construction, multi-family housing and property development.
