Project Engineer - Industrial Safety

Function

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team of engineers to support our customers. To build up a broad range of experience, you may be introduced to all aspects of industrial safety such as: Risk analyses (machine and/or process), instrumental safeguards (SIL/PL), explosion safety, machine safety, ...

• Multidisciplinary support of various projects in EPCM phase (Engineering - Procurement - Construction Management).
• Preparation of risk analyses, for both process and machine safety.
• Manage engineering documentation and reporting.
• Attend and perform assessments on existing and new installations.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement of safety processes and procedures.

Profile

• Master or professional bachelor's degree within a technical field (electromechanics/automation/process technology/energy/...).
• Initial experience is a plus, but certainly not a requirement.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English, other languages open other opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• You are a team player.
• You possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• You are eager to learn and willing to pursue further education in your area of interest.

This company is a multidisciplinary engineering firm with expertise in industrial safety. We operate within project management, engineering and consulting from A to Z, in both machine and process industries.

On the one hand, we have a solid theoretical basis in 'Safety', and on the other, a large backpack of practical experience in engineering from concept and basic design to commissioning and delivery of total projects.
