Sustainable energy project manager
Function
The Project Manager is responsible for the full scope of renewable energy projects and monitors quality, schedule and budget throughout the entire life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the entire project process of renewable energy solutions.
- Organising and leading weekly site meetings with all stakeholders.
- Perform technical checks and site visits for the assessment and optimisation of placement options for batteries, solar panels and other installations.
- Report to management on project progress and ensure clear internal coordination.
- Setting up WBS structures in SAP and monitoring the financial status of projects.
- Review and process requisition statements and invoices.
- Selecting and evaluating contractors and suppliers, requesting quotations and performing cost analysis and technical evaluations.
- Supervise tender procedures according to internal and statutory guidelines.
- Managing contractors during the execution phase, monitoring safety plans and carrying out site inspections.
- Coordinate permit applications and administrative processes, including contract management, insurance files and coordination with grid operators.
- Interpret net studies and translate them into concrete project requirements.
- Support the asset management team in technical optimisations and contribute to the long-term performance of sustainable installations.
- Reporting to the General Manager.
Profile
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical field (Energy, Electromechanics, Construction) or equivalent through experience in project management, preferably within renewable energy, construction projects or technical installations.
- Experience with ERP systems and fluent knowledge of Office365.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing external parties such as contractors and suppliers.
- Decisive, responsible and strong problem-solving skills.
- Professional and clear communication style, both internally and externally.
- Flexible and solution-oriented.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
