Project Engineer, Energy Sector

Function

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee technical projects from start to finish. You will work closely with clients, colleagues and external partners to ensure that every project is carried out correctly, both technically and administratively.

Your duties include:

• Managing small and large-scale projects from design through to completion.
• Supporting the e-plan draughtsman during the design phase.
• Preparing the programming and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• To ensure that installations on site are commissioned.
• Carrying out Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with the end customer.
• To provide technical support after handover.
• Monitoring work carried out on existing installations.
• Co-ordinating and monitoring maintenance contracts.
• Maintaining contact with clients and reporting on project progress.
• Working on projects both at home and abroad.

Profile

• You hold a degree in industrial engineering (electromechanical) or have equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Project Engineer, Automation Engineer or technical project manager would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC programming would be an advantage.
• You are a good communicator and enjoy working with customers and colleagues.
• You take the initiative and adopt a solution-oriented approach.
• You work with precision and keep technical records accurate and complete.
• You’re good at planning and setting priorities.
• You are flexible and stress resistant.
• You feel at home in a dynamic SME environment.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and a good command of French and English.
• You are willing to travel abroad from time to time.
