Project engineer E&I

Function

You will be responsible for the engineering, planning and execution of projects with the aim of improving, renewing or further automating E&I installations. This in accordance with the relevant regulations and safety standards. You report to the Technical service manager.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, coordinating and monitoring investment projects to further optimise our production process.
• Carrying out studies and analyses as part of improvement projects
• Full responsibility budget/timing/result
• Preparation of specifications and functional descriptions of installations
• Responsible for the standardisation of E&I equipment
• Keeping PLC programming up-to-date regarding E&I controls
• Data capture and management via OPC & Histories
• Project management : tender management and PO creation
• Responsible for all E&I drawings

Profile

• A degree in industrial engineering ; preferred option electro-mechanics or bachelor equivalent by experience.
• Possess rev relevant experience of project engineering within machinery & plant.
• Experience in the chemical and/or mechanical engineering sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of functional safety and risk reduction.
• Thorough knowledge of PLC programming and notions of e-plan software.
• Knowledge of MS 365 Office applications.
• Perfect knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English.
• You can communicate fluently with both internal and external stake-holders.
• You have excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Teamworker in all aspects of the word.

Organisation

This company is part of a large group, active in the food industry (semi-finished products). They have operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Finland and Mexico and employ about 1,000 people worldwide.

For our Lommel site, with 300 employees, we are looking for a Project engineer E&I.
