Project Engineer

Function

• As a Project Engineer, you technically prepare audiovisual projects and translate client needs into workable solutions.
• Adapting and following up on schematic and block diagrams, and aligning them technically with designers and design teams, forms an important part of your role.
• Drawing up technical data sheets, studies, and project documentation, and contributing to quotations, ensures that colleagues and clients can work with clear information.
• You are the point of contact for communicating technical project information to Project Managers, Site Managers, and delivery teams, ensuring that quality, budget, and timelines are maintained.
• Ordering materials, following up on deliveries, and flagging discrepancies in a timely manner helps to keep execution running without unnecessary delays.
• During installation, you provide support on technical matters, check systems, and analyse problems until a workable solution is found.
• Through drawing work in Visio, system tests, and regular client visits from Roeselare to locations across the Benelux, you contribute to the correct delivery of each project.

Profile

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably in Electronics or Electromechanics, is a good fit for this role. An equivalent A2-level technical qualification is also open for discussion.
• Some initial experience as a Project Engineer, technical project coordinator, or in a comparable technical role is a bonus, but not a requirement. Recent graduates with a strong technical foundation are also welcome to apply.
• You are comfortable reading technical diagrams and documentation; experience with Visio or similar drawing software is a plus.
• You work accurately and in a structured manner, as material tracking, technical data sheets, and project timelines directly impact the quality of delivery.
• You communicate clearly with various stakeholders and approach technical problems with an investigative mindset. A VCA-VOL certificate is an added advantage; if you do not yet hold one, you are willing to obtain it in the short term.
