Project Engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer / Project Leader, you will take charge of technical projects from concept to completion. You will combine engineering, coordination and problem-solving thinking in a versatile position with a lot of responsibility.

Your duties will include:

• Preparation of preliminary studies: surveys, technical analyses, risk assessments and feasibility studies
• Design and drawing of hydraulic systems and mechanical engineering solutions in 2D/3D
• Preparation of parts lists, technical files and documentation
• Selecting and checking technical components such as pump units, cylinders, valve blocks and safety components
• Supporting production and assembly with technical instructions and coordination
• Follow-up of sites and coordination of technical implementation
• Technical point of contact for service and troubleshooting
• Application of relevant standards and safety guidelines within design and execution
• Initiating improvement projects around standardisation, reliability, cost optimisation and manufacturability

You will work closely with an experienced team of professionals and have the space to take initiative and make a real impact.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics or similar
• At least 5 years' experience within a technical or project-based environment
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Experience with 3D drawing programmes and AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Affinity with mechanical engineering, hydraulics or industrial plants
• Analytical, hands-on and solution-oriented attitude
