Project Engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer, you are an indispensable link in the entire project process, from order to delivery. You will be responsible for the technical and organisational preparation of projects related to lightning protection and earthing systems in the industrial and tertiary sectors.

Below is a sample of your duties:

• Converting technical bid files into execution-ready projects.
• Thoroughly analyse specifications and draft clear instructions for execution.
• Preparation of construction and as-built drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
• Manage warehouse and material stock, including preparing orders.
• Link delivered goods to specific projects.
• Providing structured delivery files.
• Managing mechanics and maintaining clear communication with colleagues and customers.
• Visiting and following up on job sites (about 25-30% of your time).

Profile

We are looking for an energetic and structured employee with a hands-on mentality and technical understanding to bring projects to a successful conclusion. Our ideal candidate has:

• A construction engineering background with some site experience.
• Electricity basics.
• PC skills, including knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D or willingness to learn this quickly.
• An independent, precise and organisational manner.
• Fluent communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
• Problem-solving ability and flexibility, even under stressful conditions.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch. Basic knowledge of French and English is included.

They manage each project entirely in-house: from study, risk analysis and design to installation, inspection and maintenance. Thanks to this end-to-end approach, they guarantee quality, safety and expertise at every stage. They are currently looking for a project engineer to strengthen their 3-person project engineering team.
