Project Manager Electricity

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for engineering and want to work on challenging overall projects in the electrical sector? We are looking for a driven professional to take the reins in coordinating projects in electricity and electrical engineering, with a particular focus on electromobility.

In this role, you will work within a dynamic team of professionals and be responsible for both the technical and administrative follow-up of projects. You ensure that projects run smoothly from A to Z and that all parties involved - from technicians to customers - work together in the best possible way.

What will you do?

• Project responsibility: You will coordinate and monitor the implementation of projects within the electricity sector, with a particular focus on electric vehicle charging stations.
• Leadership and Support: You will manage a team of technicians and provide technical support where needed. You will ensure that everyone is managed appropriately to complete the project efficiently and successfully.
• Administration and Budget Management: You keep records and ensure strict monitoring of project budgets. If necessary, you determine surcharges for unforeseen costs.
• Customer contact: You will be in regular contact with the customer, service desk and subcontractors to ensure that everything goes according to plan.
• Site visits: You carry out site visits to check the progress of projects and make adjustments where necessary.
• Internal Cooperation: You will work closely with other departments such as planning and administration and report regularly to management.

Profile

What do you bring?

• Technical training: You have completed an education in electrical engineering, electricity or electromechanics.
• Relevant experience: You already have several years of experience as a project leader within the electrical sector, preferably with experience in charging stations and electrical installations.
• Knowledge of electrical installations: You have in-depth knowledge of electrical installations and have a hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills: You can communicate well with customers, technicians and other stakeholders in both Dutch and English. French is an added advantage.
• Stress resistance and flexibility: You know how to stay calm in stressful situations and prioritise well.
• VCA certificate: A valid VCA certificate is a plus.

Organisation

Our client has now been around for more than 30 years and are the market leader in the market for technical installations at petrol stations.

They grew into a company with 80 permanent employees and the group specialised in study, implementation, management, monitoring and maintenance of electro-technical techniques in buildings and in various applications. In recent years, the activity of installing charging station infrastructure has been added.
