Production Engineer

Function

As a Production Engineer, you combine technical engineering with an active role within an industrial production environment. You support the production manager and work together with the operational team towards efficient and high-quality production.

Your responsibilities:

• You support the day-to-day planning, coordination and monitoring of production.
• You monitor staffing levels, material availability and the progress of activities.
• You are regularly present on the production floor and identify opportunities to improve processes and working methods.
• You are jointly responsible for production preparation and align technical and practical aspects with production.
• You translate calculations and technical information into clear construction drawings and practical instructions.
• You monitor quality and collaborate with production managers, employees and subcontractors.
• You take initiative when faced with technical or organisational issues and contribute to improvement projects.

You do not need to be a specialist in structural calculations from the outset. Through training and guidance, you can further develop your skills in technical calculations, production technology and process optimisation.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a technically strong, communicative and practically minded profile.

• You hold a degree in industrial engineering electromechanics or an equivalent technical qualification.
• You have an interest in industrial production and process optimisation.
• You are willing to be regularly present on the production floor and to work closely with operational teams.
• You have an analytical mindset and an interest in technical calculations and construction drawings.
• You are solution-oriented, take initiative and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
• You communicate fluently with colleagues, production managers, employees and subcontractors.
• You have a good command of Dutch and can express yourself sufficiently in English.
