Plant manager

Function

As Plant Manager, you are responsible for preparing, coordinating and implementing technical projects within a large-scale production environment. Your duties include, amongst other things:

• Planning and implementing small to medium-sized projects relating to workshop fittings, technical installations and buildings.
• Managing, designing and implementing material handling solutions such as conveyor belts, manipulators, lift tables, assembly platforms, AGVs and forklift trucks.
• Co-ordinating projects relating to utilities and energy infrastructure for buildings.
• Developing and implementing initiatives to control costs and optimise processes.
• Monitoring statutory periodic inspections of lifting and handling equipment, as well as low- and high-voltage installations.
• Drawing up and updating office and factory layouts.
• Collaborate with various internal departments to identify and successfully implement technical improvements.

Profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Entry-level candidates or those with some initial relevant work experience are also eligible.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-focused mindset.
• Eager to learn and keen to get to grips with new processes and systems quickly.
• Hands-on in approach and practical in implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• A basic understanding of electricity is an added advantage.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and feel at home in a technical production environment.
