Export Planner

Function

For our client, we are looking for a Export Planner. In this role, you organise and coordinate international transport assignments from the initial request through to correct delivery. You analyse loading and delivery requirements and translate these into a feasible, efficient and profitable transport solution.

Your responsibilities:

• Via transport platforms and your network, you select suitable transport partners; you carefully align price, availability, quality and capacity.
• The follow-up of transport files is your responsibility: you monitor the planning, keep involved parties informed in a timely manner and intervene when circumstances change.
• You handle the administrative processing of assignments and ensure that data, agreements and documents are complete and correctly available.
• In the event of delays, deviations, complaints or other operational issues, you quickly contact the relevant parties and work towards a practical solution.
• You monitor the profitability of your files, identify commercial opportunities and contribute to a service that clients trust in the long term.

Profile

For the role of Export Planner at our client we are looking for a candidate with a commercial and solution-oriented attitude. These qualities are important because you weigh up interests on a daily basis, monitor agreements and must quickly build trust with clients and partners.

Your profile:

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain and understand how international transport assignments are operationally organised.
• A degree in logistics, transport, supply chain or an equivalent level of experience provides a solid foundation for this role.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an asset when working with diverse clients and transport partners.
• Planning, prioritising and maintaining an overview come naturally to you, even when multiple files or changes require attention simultaneously.

Offer

For the position of Export Planner our client offers the following package:

• A gross salary based on experience between €3,300 and €3,900.
• Meal vouchers of €8 per day worked
• Group insurance

• A full-time contract based on a 38-hour working week.
• 6 ADV days.
