Packaging Team Leader

Function

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of activities in the packaging departments. You will manage staff to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that continuity within the department is maintained. You will ensure that planning, staffing and operations are in line with requirements such as timing, resources and quality.

Your duties will include:

• Conducting evolution interviews and adjusting where necessary as well as supervising and motivating around 30 employees
• Achieving and monitoring KPIs around safety, quality, efficiency and environment
• Ensuring clear communication within the team and shift changes run smoothly
• Oversee compliance with safety standards and procedures within the department
• Technical support and troubleshooting such as packaging planning support, new product launches and technical improvements

You play a key role in the smooth functioning of our modern packaging departments and can count on support from our manager, packaging manager and HR department.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience, education and attributes:

• A logistical or technical education complemented by experience as a manager (production, packaging,...)
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Experience with MS Office and PC proficiency
• A hands-on mentality; you enjoy being on the shop floor
• Strong analytical skills and technical understanding
• Organisational talent and an eye for safety, with willingness to undertake prevention tasks.
• Flexibility to work in shift system (5h30-13h30 | 13h30-21h30)
