MEP Project Coordinator

Function

We are looking for a [position] for a Class 8 construction company with a wide-ranging portfolio of projects MEP Project Coordinator! In this role, you will coordinate the technical building services across a wide range of construction projects, from new-build and refurbishment to Design & Build and traditional contract types.

You are a key link between the various parties involved and oversee the technical coordination, planning and implementation of MEP projects. You closely monitor the technical aspects of the installations and ensure that the technical disciplines are seamlessly integrated into the overall construction process.

Typical responsibilities:

• Coordinating and monitoring MEP projects during the design and construction phases.
• Co-ordinating with in-house teams, subcontractors, suppliers and construction partners.
• Monitoring technical quality, planning and feasibility on site.
• Providing support in the development and optimisation of technical solutions.
• Identifying bottlenecks and proactively contributing ideas with regard to planning and implementation.
• Monitoring technical documents, plans and modifications.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and well-organised site operation.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong affinity for technical coordination within the construction sector. You have a hands-on approach, are solution-oriented and feel at ease in an environment where various technical disciplines come together.

Your profile:

• You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role within construction, engineering or project coordination.
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s level of education, preferably in a technical field.
• You have a good understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• You are good at planning, organising and setting priorities.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with various stakeholders.
• You work with attention to detail, take responsibility and follow up on cases proactively.
• You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• You are willing to be present at the site on a regular basis in Genk and the surrounding area.
