Mechanical Production Planner

Function

As Mechanical Production Planner You are the link between maintenance requests and their efficient, safe execution. You translate planned technical work into clear, actionable tasks and ensure that everything is prepared down to the last detail – in terms of content, practicalities and organisation.

Your role will be varied and technically challenging:

• You analyse mechanical faults and discuss possible solutions with the Field Coach and other relevant parties.
• You turn maintenance and repair work into comprehensive work orders, including clear instructions and the necessary technical context.
• You ensure that the correct parts, resources and documentation are provided in good time so that the work can proceed smoothly.
• You will schedule maintenance tasks and help to coordinate staff, materials and availability.
• You will oversee safety and ensure that all those involved are fully informed about the work to be carried out.
• You accurately record the work carried out in Ultimo and preserve relevant technical knowledge for the future.
• You will help to optimise technical processes and contribute to a structured approach to maintenance.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a technically skilled professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a hands-on approach. Ideally, you will have some initial experience in a similar role or within a technical maintenance environment.

Furthermore, you bring:

• A Bachelor of Electromechanics or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with the ability to identify and help solve problems.
• Experience with or an interest in Ultimo; knowledge of this system would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in commonly used MS Office applications.
• A good command of Dutch and English.
• A communicative and structured approach to work, enabling you to switch seamlessly between the various parties involved.
• A focus on safety, planning and quality at every stage of your preparations.
