Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineering R&D

Function

As a Mechanical Engineering Project Engineer, you will be involved in the entire development process of innovative machines and test rigs. You will be involved from the initial concept right through to the final installation at the customer’s site, and will have a highly varied role that alternates between engineering, assembly, testing and international service.

As a Mechanical Engineering Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and improving new machines and technical solutions.
• Building, assembling and testing prototypes.
• Installing, commissioning and commissioning machines at customers’ premises both at home and abroad.
• Analysing technical issues and proposing improvements to products and processes.
• Drafting technical documentation, manuals and work instructions.
• Working with colleagues from engineering, production and service.
• To provide support during demonstrations, trade fairs and technical and commercial activities.

Profile

For this role as a Mechanical Engineering Project Engineer, we are looking for an all-round engineer who enjoys combining theory with practice. You enjoy overseeing projects from start to finish and are willing to travel abroad from time to time.

For the role of Mechanical Engineering Project Engineer, you will need:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing Technology or a similar technical discipline.
• An interest in mechanical engineering, automation and product development.
• A hands-on approach and a practical mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical understanding.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis for installation and commissioning work.
• A good knowledge of English.
• Driving Licence B.
