Mechanical designer

Function

• Elaboration of the mechanical design in 3D, based on technical calculations and specifications
• Integrate feedback from the project leader, electrical designer and other departments within the design
• Preparation of clear assembly and part drawings for production, assembly and customer meetings
• Consultation with colleagues from production, assembly and service to optimise manufacturing and installation
• Explaining designs/drawings and sharing knowledge with team members
• Independently organising your work and monitoring project planning
• Processing feedback and actively working on your professional development

Profile

• Bachelor or Master's degree in (electro)mechanics or similar
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a mechanical designer in mechanical engineering or related field
• Strong technical and spatial insight, analytical and solution-oriented
• You are familiar with Inventor and/or Solidworks
• Flexible, stress-resistant and enterprising
• You are a team player and communicate fluently within different disciplines
• You can flawlessly interpret technical specifications
• Knowledge of Office software, good command of English; additional language skills are a plus
