Manufacturing Engineer Assembly

Function

• Translate 2D and 3D designs into efficient and feasible shop-floor assembly processes.
• Determine and optimise assembly methods and working methods in collaboration with the team.
• Select, design or purchase necessary tools and resources for production.
• Follow up the initial assembly of new machines and options in the line.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing and quality to identify and resolve issues and areas for improvement.
• Analyse new designs and their impact on the production environment and layout.
• Apply Lean methodologies (Kaizen, NVAA, layout studies) to improve processes.
• Solving assembly problems with a focus on ergonomics, safety, error prevention and efficiency.
• Drafting and maintaining SOPs and technical documentation.
• Conduct time studies and determine standard times for assembly activities.
• Support team leaders and supervisors in their daily operations.

Profile

• e holds a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• You feel at home in a production or assembly environment.
• Affinity with the agricultural or engineering sector is a plus.
• You are willing to undergo labour analysis training and obtain certification for this purpose.
• Knowledge of Lean, WCM or Kaizen methodologies is a strong asset.
• You work fluently with MS Office.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
• You are analytically strong and have a hands-on mentality.
• You enjoy working together in multidisciplinary teams.
