Maintenance Technician
Function
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of technicians and project staff. Your focus will be on electricity, making a substantial contribution to the maintenance and improvement of our technical installations. Your range of tasks is challenging and diverse:
- Daily technical troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of production and utility installations.
- Participation in preventive and predictive maintenance to minimise technical downtime.
- Building structured knowledge of electricity distribution within the plant.
- Manage and update low-voltage sign lists and procedures in cooperation with the installation manager.
- Giving training to colleagues (with a focus on electricity).
- Supervise inspections for high and low voltage and resolve areas of concern.
- Active involvement in electrical projects, including schematic and board control, inspection supervision and installation handover.
- Advise engineers on spare parts and stock management of electrical equipment.
- Working in a 2-shift system after an extensive training period. Sporadic night work may be involved. Weekend work is not applicable.
Profile
To be successful in this role as a Maintenance Technician, you will have the following qualifications and skills:
- You have a professional bachelor's degree in electromechanics or electricity, or are equivalent through relevant work experience (2 years or more).
- Preferred knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics/hydraulics, P&ID, and basic knowledge of automation is a plus.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and can analyse technical failures efficiently.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages.
- Experience with software such as Excel, Word and SAP.
- In possession of the following certificates or willing to obtain them: VCA, BA4, BA5.
- Knowledge, experience or interest in ATEX environments, Autocad, 5S methodologies.
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (early-late, Monday to Friday) with a sporadic night shift.
- You are a real team player and communicate fluently with colleagues.
