Maintenance manager

Function

For a technological and innovative manufacturing company, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager who is responsible for the organisation and follow-up of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of production installations.

In this role you take on a central part in guaranteeing the continuity, safety and efficiency of production. You combine technical insight with strong organisational and leadership skills.

What will you do?

• You organise requests from production for maintenance and improvement works on production installations. You draw up the planning and monitor execution, with attention to safety, quality, lead time and costs.
• You manage, coach and motivate a maintenance team of around 10 technicians, including employees who work at weekends.
• You organise and coordinate the work of external partners for maintenance, renewal and improvements to production installations.
• You coordinate activities with other internal departments, including during infrastructure and technical works.
• You monitor the availability and management of spare and wear parts for production.
• You monitor projects aimed at the improvement and optimisation of production installations.
• You compile technical documentation and keep it up to date.
• You develop safety regulations, work instructions and procedures in close collaboration with the internal health and safety department.
• You report directly to the Technical Services Manager.

Profile

• You hold a master's degree in a technical field with some relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a technical field with solid experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
• You have experience in motivational leadership. You enjoy working together towards a shared goal and know how to support and motivate employees to get the best out of themselves.
• You have a hands-on mentality, see technical problems as challenges, and work analytically.
• You are pragmatic and know how to find feasible and efficient solutions.
• Safety, productivity and quality are central to your approach.
• You enjoy bringing structure, easily create overviews and analyses, and like to organise things efficiently.
• You can set priorities independently and know how to plan and monitor tasks optimally.
• You are flexible and willing to participate in an on-call rota and the supervision of employees who work at weekends.
• You are a team player with persuasive skills and strong communication abilities. You collaborate smoothly with both managers and production staff.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
