Warehouse manager - Work planner

Function

As a warehouse manager - work planner, you combine practical warehouse work with an important preparatory and organisational role. You ensure that projects are technically and logistically well prepared to start and run smoothly.

Your duties will include:

• Processing and checking incoming deliveries
• Stock management and follow-up in software programme (incoming and outgoing materials, stock levels, identifying shortages)
• Structuring the warehouse and ensuring orderly storage
• Preparing and assembling materials kits for technicians
• Preparation of bills of materials based on plans, work orders or project info
• Preparing work files for execution (which materials, quantities, supplies)
• Estimating material needs per project and identifying shortages or ordering needs
• Assist with simple calculations or estimates of material consumption
• Continuous thinking on optimisation of warehouse flow and work preparation

Profile

• Experience in warehouse management and/or work preparation within a technical environment
• You work fluently with Excel and keep accurate records
• Forklift certificate or willing to obtain one
• You have strong organisational skills and can plan and structure well
• You have technical insight and can interpret plans or work instructions
• You take initiative and think ahead in terms of recruiting and technicians
• Accurate, hands-on and solution-oriented attitude
• You have a driving licence B.
