Logistics manager

Function

For the vacancy of logistics manager at our client, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You are responsible for transport planning and follow-up of your drivers for the Benelux region from A to Z
• You draw up transport documents and process the files in the ERP system
• Import and export shipments via sea and rail are prepared and followed up by you
• For own and hired fleet, you monitor the practical follow-up: technical breakdowns, inspections, repairs, cleaning, ...
• At the weighbridge and reception desk, you ensure a smooth reception and registration of drivers, goods and documents
• In addition, you provide administrative support where necessary with purchase and sales orders and registration forms
• You work daytime hours from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, with your day starting between 7am and 9am

Profile

For the vacancy of logistics manager at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have a first positive experience as a transport planner
• You have knowledge of ADR and customs documentation
• You are proficient in working with an ERP system
• You can function within a versatile range of tasks and are able to set priorities effectively
• You are a precise individual who can work independently and has strong communication skills
• You handle responsibility well and can determine when you need to be present with your flexible hours
• You are able to express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
