Logistics Team Lead

Function

• Together with your fellow team leaders, you will manage a team of around 40 warehouse staff.
• You are responsible for ensuring that dispatch processes are carried out smoothly and correctly, and for overseeing safety on the shop floor.
• Thanks to your strong people skills, you ensure staff are deployed efficiently and motivate your team to give their best.
• You will conduct performance reviews, draw up the staff rota and actively participate in team leader meetings and team board meetings.
• You identify opportunities for improvement, take the initiative to optimise processes and actively contribute to achieving the department’s objectives.

Profile

• Your command of Dutch is excellent, both orally and in writing.
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and possess the necessary basic computer skills.
• You are willing to work a two-shift system (early and late shifts) and are also available to work at weekends.
• You have strong leadership skills and know how to motivate and coach people.
• You have strong organisational skills, a solution-oriented mindset and aren’t afraid to come up with creative ideas.
• You can cope well with stress, show perseverance and know how to set the right priorities.
• You are willing to work in different temperature zones.
