Credit analyst

Function

At our client based in Ghent, we are looking for an experienced credit analyst to join their team. Your duties will be as follows:

• You will play a crucial role in reviewing, analysing and managing credit applications to minimise financial risks and support sound financial decisions.
• You will work closely with other departments to ensure that lending processes run efficiently.
• Evaluating creditworthiness of customers using financial data and interest rate analysis.
• Preparing detailed financial reports and recommendations.
• Reviewing internal credit guidelines and identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintaining and monitoring credit portfolios to mitigate risks.

Profile

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A completed undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, economics, related field.
• At least several years of demonstrable work experience as a credit analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
