Junior Site Manager

Function

During your induction period:

• Supervision by assembly department supervisor.
• Introduction to all facets of the business.

After the familiarisation period:

• Responsible for assembly activities on large construction sites, in collaboration with a foreman.
• Follow up on administrative, organisational and safety aspects of the projects.
• Coordinating and monitoring the work of subcontractors.
• Adherence to budgets and deadlines.
• Support the project manager in preparing and defending extra work proposals in the required contract language.
• Attending site meetings together with the project manager.

After the induction period, you will be given responsibility for projects on site. Here, you will act as the main person responsible on site and be a direct collaborator of the project manager and assembly department supervisor, to whom you will report.

Profile

• You have at least a technical Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Multitasking does not scare you and you know how to prioritise.
• Strong communication skills.
• No need for a standard nine-to-five.
• Willingness to go abroad for a short period if required by the yard.
• Good command of the Dutch language but also does not shy away from leading sites where the working language is French, English or German.
