Junior Banking and Investment Officer

Function

For a bank branch with strong local roots, we are looking for a Junior Banking and Investment Officer who is keen to learn, eager to help customers and develop within the banking sector.

In this position, you do not need to have years of experience. What matters most is your motivation. You have an interest in banking, savings, investment and financial advice, and you want to grow step by step in your knowledge and customer contact.

You will join an experienced team that will guide you well. Adequate training and support is provided, so you will not be left to your own devices. You will get to know the clients, the products and the operation of the office, and gradually gain more responsibility.

We are looking for someone who has gusto to throw themselves at it. Someone who dares to ask questions, takes initiative and likes to learn. You don't have to be able to do everything yet, but you do want to go for it.

What you will do

• You will support customers with their daily banking queries.
• You will learn to guide clients around savings, investments and future planning.
• You will follow up with customers together with experienced colleagues.
• You learn to recognise and discuss customer needs.
• You will support the team in the further development of customer relations.
• You will receive training and guidance to become stronger in financial advice, step by step.
• You will help build the trust that clients have in the firm.

Profile

Who are you?

• You have at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Above all, you have a lot of desire to learn.
• You have an interest in banking, savings, investment and financial advice.
• You like to take initiative and want to hurl.
• You ask questions and enjoy learning from experienced colleagues.
• You are customer-oriented and communicate fluently.
• You speak and write good Dutch.
• Initial experience in banking, finance, sales or customer contact is nice to have, but not a must.

Offer

You will get a permanent contract at start-up and a salary package negotiable according to your experience.
