Insurance clerk Bank
Function
For an independent bank branch, I am looking for an insurance clerk to join 2 colleagues in managing over 3,000 current insurance files.
You will have a varied role that includes administrative, advisory and commercial (from warm leads).
What exactly are you doing?
- You are jointly responsible for the management and follow-up of all insurance contracts, from new applications to adjustments and revisions.
- You ensure correct administrative processing Of policies and accompanying documents.
- Together with your colleagues, you will assist customers in damage cases (6 to 7 per week), supporting them with empathy and expertise in submitting, following up and finalising their files.
- You perform advice with existing customers and new customers who contact them spontaneously or are referred by colleagues.
- You actively think along with the customer and suggest where necessary additional covers or alternatives for that better suit their situation.
- You work proactive and commercial, but always on the basis of warm leads. You do not have to do cold calling, but you are encouraged to detect opportunities - also for colleagues within credit and investments.
- You contribute to a positive customer experience and smooth internal cooperation.
Profile
- You have relevant experience in the insurance sector, or hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. in finance, legal practice, insurance,...) and have a strong affinity with insurance.
- You are customer-oriented and professional in your communication.
- You work in a structured and precise manner.
- You are commercially minded, see opportunities and take initiative.
- You function well in a team but can also manage files independently.
