Insurance & Investment Adviser

Function

As an Insurance & Investment Adviser, you will provide personalised and professional guidance to clients. During your first few months, you will gain a thorough understanding of how the office operates and provide administrative support to your colleagues. You will then gradually progress to an advisory role, in which you will guide clients independently.

Your duties will include:

• Advising clients on non-life insurance, life insurance and investment solutions.
• To provide administrative support within the office during your induction period.
• Prepare and monitor insurance and investment files correctly.
• Prepare for client meetings and, in time, conduct them independently.
• Working with the client to find the most suitable, bespoke solution.
• To offer comprehensive advice that looks beyond any single product.
• Continuously expanding your knowledge through training courses and on-the-job guidance.

You’ll start with a thorough induction programme. This will give you around six months to fully familiarise yourself with how the organisation works, after which you’ll gradually take on more responsibilities during a further induction period.

Profile

For this role, we are primarily looking for someone with the right motivation and the ambition to develop their career within the insurance and investment sector.

Ideally, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree or initial relevant work experience in insurance, banking or finance.
• An interest in both insurance and investments.
• A mindset in which the customer is always the focus.
• A warm and genuine person who inspires confidence.
• A willingness to learn and the motivation to keep developing yourself.
• Team spirit and a willingness to offer spontaneous support to colleagues.
• A precise and structured way of working.
