Insurance Adviser: private individuals & small businesses

Function

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Client Advisor for a stable and growing insurance broker in Limburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and further expanding a client portfolio comprising private individuals and small businesses.

You will be given a varied range of responsibilities, with a focus on customer-focused advice, file management and commercial opportunities. You will be the main point of contact for your clients and will help to build long-term client relationships.

Your responsibilities

• You will independently manage an existing client portfolio comprising private individuals and small businesses.
• You advise clients on various types of insurance, with a focus on miscellaneous cover.
• You analyse customers’ needs and devise suitable insurance solutions.
• You will monitor files from quotation to policy management and ensure that the administrative follow-up is carried out correctly.
• You will actively maintain contact with customers and ensure a professional and personalised service.
• You identify commercial opportunities and respond proactively to additional needs.
• You will work closely with colleagues, insurance companies and other relevant parties.
• You are able to use various social modules and digital applications with ease.

Profile

• You have at least 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the insurance sector.
• Experience in the private and small business sector (PKO) is a major asset.
• You have a good knowledge of miscellaneous insurance policies.
• You are customer-focused and communicate fluently and professionally.
• You work independently and are happy to take responsibility for your cases.
• You are proactive, have a commercial mindset and enjoy working alongside the customer to find solutions.
• You can cope well under pressure and manage to keep a clear overview even during busy periods.
• You are a true team player who enjoys working with colleagues and insurance companies.
