Account Manager Insurance

Location: Genk, Limburg, Belgium Specialisation: Finance Salary: € 3.000 - € 5.000 bruto / month Contracttype: Indefinite time Hours: 39 h/week Work ritme: 4/5, Day

Function

Are you someone who likes to really get to know entrepreneurs?

Someone who does not start from a policy, but from the story behind a company? If so, this could be a role where your experience comes into its own again.

For our client with a strong reputation in the corporate world, we are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Manager.

Not a position for someone who has yet to discover the sector. But for someone who knows insurance, brings maturity and naturally builds trust with entrepreneurs, managers and board members.

You will join a firm where quality is more important than volume. Where you will not only be judged on figures, but also on how you guide clients, deepen relationships and build lasting partnerships.

Specifically:

  • You will manage and advise corporate clients in a professional and personal manner.
  • You will build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, business owners and decision-makers.
  • You will help think about insurance solutions tailored to the company.
  • You recognise commercial opportunities within your portfolio and through your own network.
  • You will represent the firm at networking events and in the region.
  • You will work closely with an experienced back office, allowing you to focus on consulting and relationship management.
  • You will be a sounding board for clients on more complex risks or strategic choices.

So you will not have a strictly defined sales function in which you mainly have to hunt. But a job in which you can use your experience, network and commercial feeling in a way that feels natural and professional.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for someone who is already firmly established in the insurance industry.

You know the industry, understand how enterprise customers think and have a good sense of how to build trust over the longer term. You don't have to be the loudest person in the room. But someone who comes across as credible, listens well and gives advice that rings true.

You recognise yourself in this:

  • You have at least 5 years' experience within insurance, preferably with enterprise clients.
  • You have commercial maturity and feel comfortable talking to entrepreneurs and executives.
  • You have your own network or know how to build professional relationships naturally.
  • You think beyond today's question and consider tomorrow's risks.
  • You enjoy working independently, but find consultation with colleagues and back office equally important.

Experience, maturity and confidence are more important here than a perfect checklist.

Organisation

You will join an independent insurance agency where professionalism and humanity go hand in hand.

No unwieldy structure or distant culture, but short lines of communication, open communication and colleagues who know what they are doing. You get the confidence to tackle your work your way, without being on your own.

The atmosphere is professional but relaxed. We work hard, but there is also room to be yourself. Talking to a colleague, having lunch together, playing pool or darts in between: it's all part of the job.

What particularly stands out here is the combination of quality, autonomy and collegiality. You work with people who know their trade and want to assist clients in the same careful way as you do.

Offer

What to expect

  • A permanent contract at start-up.
  • The opportunity to work on an independent basis, if that suits you better.
  • Lots of autonomy and say in your role.
  • A strong back office supporting you.
  • A competitive salary package with fringe benefits tailored to your experience.
  • A modern office where well-being and professionalism are important.
  • Room to grow further, both substantively and commercially.
  • A client portfolio where you can really make a difference.
  • An environment where your experience is valued.

Ready for the next step?

Maybe you are not actively looking, but feel you are ready for more freedom, more confidence or an environment where your experience can be more strongly expressed.

If so, we would love to listen to your story.

Diversity and inclusion are important to CTRL-F.
Whoever, whatever or however you are or what you stand for, it is your talents that make the difference.
