Industrial construction project manager

Function

You are responsible for the complete preparation and follow-up of projects, ensuring the timely ordering of materials, equipment and the engagement of subcontractors. You plan and lead the necessary consultations and keep a close eye on financial progress as well as quality, environmental awareness and safety. Even after delivery, you remain involved for the aftercare of the project. You also coach, supervise and evaluate employees, organise training courses and manage site supervisors, foremen and the entire project team. You report directly to the main project leader.

Profile

You have a master's degree in a construction engineering discipline and at least five years of relevant experience in (industrial) construction. You have an excellent command of Dutch and can express yourself fluently in French.

Our client is a class 7 contractor specialising in industrial construction, with a branch in Berchem. Recently, the company became part of a larger group. For more than 40 years, our client has realised turnkey projects in Belgium and the Netherlands, for diverse clients within sectors such as food, logistics, manufacturing and automotive.
